The 212th Attack Battalion was a military battalion that served within the Grand Army of the Galactic Republic, placed under the command of Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Clone Marshal Commander CC-2224 "Cody," throughout the duration of the three- year pan- galactic Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, often serving alongside the 501st Legion, which was commanded by Kenobi's former Padawan, Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano.
The 212th Attack Battalion served under Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Clone Commander CC-2224 "Cody." By then, their commanding officer was General Kahdah. During their days in service to the new government, the battalion was dispatched to the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk where they suppressed an indigenous uprising. įollowing the proclamation of the New Order, the 212th was absorbed into the armed forces of the Galactic Empire. The clones failed to execute their former leader, however. Although the Jedi Master completed his task by killing Grievous, he was ultimately betrayed by his soldiers upon the activation of Order 66, a protocol that called for the extermination of all Jedi.
By the third and last year of the conflict, the 212th led an invasion of the Separatist-controlled world of Utapau, engaging an army of battle droids while Kenobi hunted General Grievous in order to end the war. Led by Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and his subordinate, Clone Commander CC-2224 "Cody," the 212th fought against the droid forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems throughout the Clone Wars.
